Day 1: Sunday: Tangier
Welcome at Ibn Batouta airport by Atlas Voyages staff. Brief review of the tour during your transfer to the hotel.
Check-in, dinner and accommodation. (PS: The hotel’s restaurant closes at 10:30 PM. No possibility of dinner served in the room)
Day 2: Monday: Tangier Chefchaouen Fes
After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing of the Tanger. Start by visiting Tangier Port and the outskirts of the city, crossing the modern town with its large boulevards and exclusive areas of large villas, celebrity homes and palaces, including the summer residence of the Moroccan royal family. Continue to Cape Spartel at the entrance to the Straits of Gibraltar, and see the lighthouse that marks the convergence of the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
After that, drive to ‘Blue Pearl city’ or Chefchaouen city, famous for its blue-painted walled medina. The blue palette derives from the 15th century, when the town attracted exiles from Spain. Arriving Jewish refugees fleeing the Spanish Inquisition painted their houses blue to reflect their divinity a tradition that continued through the centuries. Enjoy a walking tour through Chefchaouen’s cobbled medina, absorbing the Moorish and Spanish atmosphere & admire the striking blue-and-white houses.
Continuation to Fes.

Day 3: Tuesday: Fez
The whole day is devoted to the city sightseeing of Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco: the medieval Medina and the Bou Anania Medersa, the Nejjarine fountain, the Foundouq Nejjarine: Museum of woods, Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the outside of Karaouine mosque. Optional (FB Basis): Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the Medina. Afternoon: visit of the esplanade of the Royal Palace with its sumptuous golden door and then sightseeing of Fez Jdid.

Day 4: Wednesday: Fez Midelt Erfoud Merzouga
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Erfoud via Ifrane a delightful ski resort, and Azrou a very nice Berber village known for its handcrafts, then Midelt, another Berber village well known for all the mining resorts that surrounds the area. After an optional Luch (FB Basis) continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the blue water falls of Meski.Continuation to Merzouga with 4WD. After a traditional dinner with Berber dishes, you will spend the night under berber tents and enjoy a magnificent view of the dunes.
Day 5: Thursday: Erfoud – Merzouga – Tinghir Ouarzazate
Early morning, you can walk over the sands of Merzouga Dune to enjoy the sunrise. Back to the bivouac for breakfast and continuation to Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty is buried. Visit of the kasbah of the 17th century, and continuation to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Visit of the magnificent Todgha canyons which rocks reach and altitude of 250 meters. After an optional lunch and departure towards the region of the roses, called the road of the kasbahs and the incomparable crossing of the mountains of the High Atlas, visits throats of the valley of Dades. Continuation towards Skoura via Klâa Me Gouna, visit of its Kasbah where the palm trees are replaced gradually by the orchards and the roses remain the local speciality for the manufacture of perfumes. Arrival in Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 6: Friday: Ouarzazate / Marrakech
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, one of the most beautiful Kasbah in the south of Morocco and which is under the UNESCO protection. In this Kasbah many films were produced; such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Jewel of the Nile “and many others. After an optional lunch (FB Basis) continue to Marrakesh via very nice landscapes and many fortified Berber villages of rare beauty and by crossing the Tichka Pass (2270 m alt). Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 7: Saturday: Marrakech
Visit of historical Marrakesh famous by its beautiful palaces and monuments: the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret and Menara Gardens. Optional lunch in Local restaurant inside the Medina (FB Basis). Afternoon: Explore Secret Garden; Rebuilt in the mid-19th century by an influential Caïd of Atlas. Complete our sightseeing with a stop at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square with its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 8: Sunday: Marrakech
